Merch Care Instructions

Keep your Critshow merch looking its best by following these recommended care instructions!

Printed Apparel (t-shirts, hoodies)

Our supplier uses the latest direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology to offer a wide variety of printable garments and design color options. They use high-quality inks that won’t fade for a long time if taken care of properly.

Keep in mind that the original manufacturer’s care instructions don’t take into consideration the DTG printing process. So we suggest following the care instructions on this page to learn how to take care of your printed garments properly.

Printed apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn’t use any fabric softeners and shouldn’t dry-clean the items.

DTG-printed apparel can be tumble-dried on a low cycle, but hang-dry works best. When it comes to ironing, use cool iron inside-out. Don’t iron the print.

Follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading and cracking of the print, and shrinking the garment that can occur if you wash or dry it on a high setting.

Embroidered Hats (beanies, caps)

Embroidered hats can be wiped clean with a damp cloth in the spots where it’s needed. If necessary, they can be hand-washed cold. Don’t use brushes.

Embroidered hats shouldn’t be machine-washed, bleached, tumble-dried, ironed, or dry-cleaned. Read the manufacturer label carefully for any other instructions.

Embroidered Aprons

Embroidered aprons can be machine-washed at 86°F (30°C) or less. Don’t use bleach. They can be tumble-dried on a low cycle. Read the manufacturer label carefully for any other instructions.

All-Over Print Apparel (Leggings, Boxer Briefs)

All-over printed apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out, with like colors, without bleach. Don’t dry-clean or tumble-dry the apparel. You can iron it with a low heat setting.

All-Over Print Face Masks

All-Over Print Face Masks can be machine-washed at 140ºF (60ºC) with like colors, without bleach. They can’t be dry-cleaned. You can tumble-dry the face masks on low heat and iron on a cool setting.

Mugs

Our White Glossy Mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe, but the print and coating will last longer if you hand-wash them.

Matte Black Magic Mugs, however, should only be hand-washed, and you can’t put them in a microwave. Note that they’re also prone to scratches, so be extra careful.

Posters and Framed Prints

To ensure that your posters and prints last for a long time, don’t keep them in direct sunlight or outdoors. They can be gently dusted with a soft dry cloth or a feather duster.
