Our heroes separate yet again after some troubling news leaves them shaken. Jake takes steps towards helping his ward. Tass endures a terrifying test. Kim discovers a name from the time travelers’ past. Megan delivers a dire warning. After gleaning enough clues to plan for their next artifact, they discover that their biggest hurdle could amount to the kiss of death.

Our heroes reconvene to start building their next plan. Kim sifts through the wreckage of her home. Megan asks a favor of James. Jake acquires something important. Tass gets an unfortunate phone call. While they seem to have good fortune on several fronts, they have to keep their momentum to stay ahead of the lurking danger.

Our heroes split up in order to hunt down information after the fall of a major house. Jake discovers a familiar face. Tass uncovers several important weaknesses of his adversaries. Megan brokers a tentative peace between two groups. Kim attends a meeting of great importance. As the team gains new information about the shifting powers-that-be, they begin to build a solid foundation on how to deal with their enemies… or at least a way to avoid them long enough to get what they need.

Our heroes make their escape as The House of Strohm falls. Tass is brought into an uncomfortable meeting. Megan gets new information about her loss of powers. Kim takes on a new role. Jake has a disturbing encounter with a group of loiterers. The attack on Strohm’s tower has set off a massive shift of power in this world of monsters. The team has to use every trick they know to keep themselves safe.
